"Over the years I've read many Christian authors and teachers and have never seen anyone pull together scriptual truth on the steps of sanctification as Johnston does. It reads like a novel but will also serve as a daily devotional. Its a must have for Christian libraries." (Doug Mills, Friendswood, TX)
Every Knee Will Bow
The saddest words ever written to mankind were written by Enoch, who had seen in heaven, the tablets for the last days when Christ suddenly comes in power and glory and unbelievers are shocked and terrified. He writes:
"And all the kings and the mighty and the exalted and those who rule the earth shall fall down before him on their faces, and worship and set their hope upon that Son of Man, and petition him and supplicate for mercy at his hands... (They plead with the Lord), 'We have learnt that we should glorify and bless the Lord of kings and Him who is king over all kings.' and they shall say, 'would that we had rest to glorify and give thanks and confess our faith before His glory'.Nevertheless that Lord of Spirits will so press them that they shall hastily go forth from His presence, and their faces shall be filled with shame, and the darkness shall grow deeper on their faces."
We who believe cry out to God,and pray for those who do not have any power within themselves to believe, that God may give them that power while there is still time and while there is still hope and while there is still mercy and grace. May all those who want to believe but are hinbered and lack this power make the following petition to the Lord:
"Lord, I believe, help thou my unbelief"
